Using Outlook To Manage Your Life
These days, we all have so much going on in our lives. We need to balance tasks, deadlines, and meetings at work, with the needs and appointments of our families, which is not easy. It is nearly impossible to remember everything going on over the long term, and things will start to fall between the cracks. Therefore, it is best to find a tool or tools which will help us remember everything we have to do, everywhere we need to be, and when we need to be there. Microsoft Outlook, and some clever plug-ins, could provide you the help you need to get a better grasp on all of the things you are currently juggling.
I have been using Outlook to manage all of my tasks and correspondence for the last 8 years. Most of the things that I use are out of the box functionality within Outlook 2003, but I have added a plug-in which will provide a couple of mailbox management additions.

Have you had problems with the performance of Zip utilities? I sure have, as it takes more than 20 minutes to Unzip a 10 MB compressed file. What is the deal? Well, I'm not completely sure, but I know that it's not acceptable. So, I tried using WinZip, which I had used for years prior to XPs unzip utility. But still no luck. The performance was similar if not worse. So, what's the solution? Well, I'm sure there is a way to fix both of these apps, and some searching the internet told me that it has to do with Vista's advanced security around files. What I did is download 7-zip, which is a GPL open source file archival tool. It works great in Vista (well, what you would expect)! You can take a look at 7-zip at http://www.7-zip.org.
